In our second episode, we’re diving deep into the essential concept of self-awareness: moving from autopilot to consciousness. This topic frequently comes up in conversations, with many expressing frustration over the lack of self-awareness in their relationships.

Lets do a Practical Self-Assessment

Take a moment to reflect on your level of self-awareness with these statements. Rate yourself from strongly agree to strongly disagree:

  1. I am clear about how my emotions affect others.
  2. I am always in touch with how I feel.
  3. I know my limits.
  4. I know what my strengths are.
  5. I like who I am.
  6. I know my personal resources.
  7. I am a good person.
  8. I am a valuable person.
  9. I have many good skills.
  10. I trust my intuitions.

Next, consider these behaviors on a scale from not at all to every time:

  1. I "observe" myself.
  2. I have insight into myself.
  3. I look at why people act the way they do.
  4. I have learned about myself and how I see the world.
  5. I am continuing to work on and develop myself.
  6. I focus on ways of amending my behavior that would be useful.
  7. I reassess my own and others' responsibilities.
  8. I'm aware of my abilities and limitations.
  9. I am reflective.
  10. I am realistic about myself.
